The National Lottery Communities Fund is supporting our APEX project, facilitating reciprocal visits between children and playworkers from some of London\u2019s fabulous adventure playgrounds. LEGOLAND is designed for families with children aged 2\u201312, but there\u2019s plenty for adults to enjoy too\u2014 from brick-tastic builds to immersive rides like Flight of the Sky Lion and LEGO NINJAGO The Ride. LEGOLAND Windsor\u2019s main season runs from March to early November, when the full park and most attractions are open daily. I went with my wife and 2 sons, we loved it, the atmosphere was great, my sons said it was the best holiday they ever had. Our grandchildren 5 and 2 yrs old really loved the pirate themed bedrooms and all the facilities. The early park access was a huge bonus and having the car park right by the hotel made the whole trip much easier.<\/p>\n

For more than a decade, Inspiring Scotland and Active Play delivery partners have worked together to bring the Active Play Programme to children across Scotland. Eight city-based teams, created specifically for The\u00a0Hundred, will compete every summer.\u200b It features world-class players and massive names from around\u00a0the world.<\/p>\n
Designed to be fun, inclusive and active, Active Play is a straightforward and inexpensive programme to implement. Active Play is an evidence-based programme that effectively helps children be more physically active. For children wanting to play club cricket throughout the summer, there are over 5,000 clubs around the country for you to choose from. Groups of young people from adventure playgrounds will acquire skills that they can use when they return to their playgrounds, to help with the upkeep and development of the site. LEGOLAND Windsor is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments, making the resort part of a family of top UK attractions. We will work alongside local campaigners, supporting them to successfully challenge threats to local play spaces or services and develop a toolbox for future campaigners in the process. We are very excited that Trust for London has agreed to fund our Communities United for Play project.<\/p>\n
